Took me about an hour to remove it my first time. My dash is black so the random carbon look might look better

Looks better than old plastic or cheap paint. And its not like the parts he wrapped would be lighter if they were really cf so I really dont see the problem.

OP, what brand of wrap did you use?

Yeah...some stuff you can't tell the difference. I have lots of real CF in my car too.
I use the 3M 1080 3D stuff. It's the best.
If I could find this stuff in real CF, I would buy it. Fact is, nobody makes it anymore.
This is the next best thing and it looks way better than the old faded plastic.

I have the same stuff at work as far as cf vinyl goes 3m is the closest looking to actual cf. i have a few little pieces wrapped in my car too btw

I've been considering having my to be modified interior parts dipped in that hydro graphix film stuff for the interior parts, then just clear coating them. I think it would handle the complex curves and look better.
