Im picking up some Watanabes for $500 or less.

They are black with polished lip.

I have an SE and the wheel sizes are:
4 x 114.3
15x6.5 +34 Fronts
16x7.0 +27 Rears

Thinking about putting them on

205/55/15 Front
225/50/16 Rear

I was on the Watanabe website and the fitment for FCs were +30 front and +25 rear. So hopefully these will fit pretty good.

I just want to get everybodys input on what they think. I have a White S4 FC3S with S5 tails. The car is dropped on Tanabe GF and KYB AGX Shocks. I have color matched side moldings and mirrors what what do people think of Watanbes on Rx-7 FCs?

where can you get some Watanabe rims at? I was also interested in some (17x9 +15 offset for the front & 17x10 +12 offset for the rear) for the 5x114.3 lug pattern. If you can find out I would greatly apreciate it..thanks!

beware, rims aren't cheap new.

 

i love these rims!!! at our local importer... there were two w/ the 5 x 114.3 lug pattern. the owners said they were ugly. if there were two more i would've jumped on them. i love the way they look on FC's. not because the initial-d bandwagon... but b/c they are soo light and look badass.

 

wantans are pretty cool.. i dont know if i like them on fc's but they should have been stock on the ae86. post pics when you get them mounted

My friend just picked up some watanabe wheels at a shop out here in LB since you're in So cal might be easier for you to pick them up I'll find out and let you know on this post

I was about to say, now you just need some Red Suns stickers and a Feed lip Wheels look good on there, I like the Wantanabes but can't afford them.

 

lol nah man that sticker is pretty gay IMO. When i get a lip i dont know which one, im just going to get my boss to repaint the whole car and then redo the interior then im done. After that just wait for a new engine.

Those are SSR Watanabe RS-8s. Multi-piece wheels (usually two piece) with a polished lip.

SSR Watanabe RSs are one piece wheels and have no polished lip or bolts holding the face to the rim.

SSR Doesnt make Watanabes any more. Rs-8 is just a model made by Rs-Watanabe. Go look.

 

speed star makes them, heres my TII with watanabe rs-8's and yes they are definetely the best looking wheels for the FC and they are also era correct

 

What I would do for a set in bronze:
