true ballers: brag about your brand new OEM parts
Ray Crowe is the f-in man! He just zips along once you call and he's like "alright it's on it's way" I love buying new **** from Malloy. Such a pleasure dealing w/ Ray. I have several local mazda dealerships here and I call Ray in Woodbridge, VA almost bi-weekly. lol.
I just bought all new blinker fluid man! **** works great, now my blinker blinks 10x better than before, I usually get people to honk at me cause it looks cool but some people say it blinds them.
mm mm good
Mmmmm. Factory fresh parts made in Japan. I'd open the box and show you the new TPS but you'd prolly get wood.
Ya know sometime your only choice is to bend over and pay up since the aftermarket cant't deliver the quality like Mazda can. Don't hate on Mazda parts, at least our cars don't accelerate uncommanded.

I'm definitely going to buy a new radio surround when I have all my 'important purchases' out of the way. It'll be nice to have one that doesn't shatter if you look at it wrong. Maybe a new set of the vents that go above the logicon too, having those fall apart every time you adjust them sucks too. I'll never forgive myself for breaking the mint set I found at the junkyard *cuts self*.
new factory manual steering rack
oil pump/chain
stationary gears
rotor bearings
pilot bearing
all seals, springs
why dont you point out where someone can get those items aftermarket?
neat topic for us restoration guru's i spent over 3K at the mazda dealer restoring an 85 GS. here's the thread with pics of the restoration and plenty of new oem parts in their original bag: https://www.rx7club.com/build-threads-293/85-l6-gs-se-project-restoration-822222/
what we need in this thread is more pics of the oem parts.

yes it did come with the ring, as well as two of the goldish bolts (top and bottom ones in the pic) and an eshaft hub. I like the clean look of it, but the main reason I bought it was for the peace of mind knowing that my timing marks were right. It was a way to protect my investment in the motor.
I restored an 88 turbo 2 several years back.
It was basically a decent and complete car to begin with, however I am a perfectionist,
so I totally redid everything.
I stuck to a simple rule... if it didnt operate or look 100% new, I would buy it new OEM.
The parts totalled about 7k. The original price is nearly 10k, but they gave me the
same discounts that car repair shops/commercial accounts get.
Nearly every interior trim piece, and the majority of engine pieces are all new OEM.
They had to do some serious digging for me on some parts, and I have a lot of cool stories...
One is...
I guess I got the last 2 original OEM turbo mufflers. They had to order them from japan,
the USA warehouses were empty, and the computer said 3 left worldwide.
The interior carpet is gone along with a host of other parts, when they tell me NLA,
it means no longer available, then they can do a dealer search and see if a dealer has one buried on a shelf.
Did I spend a lot of money ? yeah. Do I care ? nope.
It was and is worth every penny, my car looks and feels new, because it is mostly new.
Its a great feeling, and also knowing my car is 100 % stock.
I will post a pic or two...

I had to crop the pictures to reduce the file size.
Here are two parts I havent installed yet, an OEM/NOS y-pipe and a trans cover shield.
The quality of these parts is really good, as I am always surprised by the workmanship
and they just look plain great.
