Yep Old school Gotham Racing streetported s5 motor in an 86 base model. Its an absolutely ridiculous build coming round soon.

Hey guys. That's my car. My friend decided to post up a teaser...I was gonna wait till we were done. :P

Internally: AFAIK, just a basic Gotham rebuild/streetport with some hard 60k miles. (Including a couple 13.5s 1/4mi on 14lbs stock turbo, FCD, FD fuel pump and 3" single exit. No fuel comp or larger injectors = likely, lean as s#!t.) We'll know what was done EXACTLY once this one goes and I upgrade the motor.

It's the T78 33D freshly rebuilt.

And yeah, he's pretty spot on. Till I get a new LSD, some chromoly axles and coilovers (only have Koni's and soon GCs for now), it's taking launches and high turns pretty easy. 17x10 +12 FN01s with 275 Hoosiers should stick pretty well. Just wait till yall see the finished body.

It should be up and tuned well in time for that...barring popping the motor between getting it running and then. *crosses fingers*

BTW, I'm partnered up with Josh @ RE-Tuning in SA. His race car is posted in this section too. You'll likely see both of us rolling out there together. All together we'll have a pretty well rounded showing.

its about time to see someone else running nylon wrapped lines, instead of stainless steel. at least you dont have to worry about the nylon rubbing a hole in something.

Damn straight. It's easier to cut without worrying about stabbing the tips of your fingers with a million holes and maybe (haven't verified but it would make sense) lighter than similiar size SS braided.

From when I worked at a performance shop and had to assemble the hoses, the weight difference is nothing unless youvare running massive amounts of lines. Like, every hose being ss braided

True but I like to think every little bit helps in the long run but yeah, it was the lack of cutting **** up. lol
