There's not many car's I'd consider sleepers in here aside from J-rats.
But my definition of the word is probably alot more pure then most enthusiasts nowadays.

Also, I've seen this car in person. The roll cage is almost invisible (tucked behidn interior, main hoop is tucked in the b-pillars) and its rocking a bench seat with a mexican blanket on it. *THAT* is how you do a sleeper.
OH and the original steel wheels on the car.....the rears have been cut and widened. Yessir.

That is sick. But how's the exhaust note at idle? That always gives away a stock looking car.
it doesn't sound like a stock 72' nova thats for sure. But the LAST thing you'd think is "hmm, procharged 1000hp 8 sec capable" 
If he stabs it though you can hear a *wzzzzzzz* so a minor giveaway. But if he's already revving at you, its too late

Usually a lumpy *** idle gives away a stock looking car. That's why I enjoy rotaries alot, if you have a bridgeported motor, just tell people you have a bad coil pack and it's misfiring like crazy at idle and just smoke their ***.
That is a very sick Nova though. Kudos to the owner keeping it like that.
I consider my car to be kinda sleeper like. Nothings stands out but it still looks clean. The wheels are nice but look like they could be stock mazda wheels.
also it can be a performance car 20 years ago but doesn't mean it is associated to be a performance vehicle. I live in a redneck town and if there was a stock mustang GT next to an rx7 with 800whp they would dang at the mustang.

I own this dumb thing... 2.2, 57 trim, eathanol, 22psi, blah blah blah.
Its a sleeper... And its fast... Faster then you would think...
Ran a 12.9 with baddddd tires at 20psi and regular fuel.
