like said above... many people around here are clueless about the rx-7, specifically the FC... FD's do stand out though. I've only seen another FC on the road just regular driving once... they are getting rarer and rarer esp in good condition.
I would not call mine a sleeper yet... all my $ is going into the suspension, diff, brakes ect this season... I'll be swapping it next season.

I was hoping people would post pics of cars that are mechanically 100% but maybe have some comsmetic issues to deal with. Ideally it would look stock from the outside but when you popped the hood or drove it you would realize that it is not nearly a stock car.
I do have a set of TII rims are going to be painted black, they should looks a bit stealthier than the sportmax. My car is a legit TII though, no swap here. I spent all the time and money on the engine/ems/turbo, drivetrain, suspension and brakes before even thinking of doing something cosmetic, eventually I got the rims....

No fcs where you live? Thats crazy.....i had no idea they were that rare, i guess it just depends on where you live. There are 5 in my area that i pass on the street regurlarly.

My I drove my rx for a couple months before i got it painted. My car was like 4 different colors.
People would glance at my car and think "What a piece of sh**".
But then stare at me as I'm flying by them or when they notice i'm driving on the right hand side. I loved it.

I've only ever seen a couple of FCs in my area. The last time I saw one was probably last spring.

this is a sleeper, stock body, three different colors, diy stuff everywhere including a home built ebc and a.i. kit, street legal and everything.

most of these cars arent sleepers. they are just busted up and running close to stock hp
