S4 Mud flap opinions

I've been looking for something to add to the rear bumper of my car, but haven't been able to find anything within my price range. OEM mudflaps are too hard to come by, and I can't afford (and I don't think they fit S4) rear aero gaurds. So I thought about it and remembered I had some mudflaps from my old car, a 5th gen prelude. I took the mudflaps that originally were mounted in the front wheel wells, and mocked them up on my car. This is what the result was, what do you guys think?

I'm not a mud flap fan myself. I don't think they enhance the lines of any car, and functionally they trap a lot of dirt, salt and other junk in the winter between the mudflap and the fender. If you have to drive on a gravel road every day, I'd consider mudflaps, but otherwise I don't see the point of them.

That said, it seems you've done a clean job of adapting the Prelude flaps to the rear of the FC.

Funny thing actually, I took these off the prelude two days after I got it because I hated them. I always hated the look of mudflaps until I saw how they look on the rear of an s4. I don't really think they'll serve a purpose for me; purely a cosmetic thing.

OEM REAR mud flaps fit either S4 or S5. Not sure why you 'd think otherwise.

Front mud flaps, absolutley right they won't fit at least as it relates to S5 TII with stock side skirts.

Mud flaps always say to me "I don't plan on washing my car, no matter HOW dirty it gets, these will keep the illusion that it is cleaner then it is"...

They only belong on rally cars........

I'm not a mud flap kind of guy, but I have to say those ones look good. I would think if they didn't stick down so far they would be good in the winter in deep snow. They would really do a nice job of keeping it off the car and out of that space between the body and the rear heat shields.
