That's why I bought the TSX projectors, they are the most compact and have a wicked good beam. I just spoke to the guy who I bought them from and he said they were shipped on Friday so they should be here any day.

Looks good so far. That's really all I was planning on doing. Can you post better pics of how you attached the projector to the housing itself. I was planning on adding a sheet of ABS to the back of the housing and mounting the projector onto the added sheet so it was level. I like the black housings though, that should make it look pretty good.

Post a link to the new thread when you make it. My projectors should be here today or tomorrow, then we can see the difference between the FX and TSX projectors.

Anyone know of some low beam projectors that are SHORT and 4" round? I'm looking to refit my East Bears but unless I want to do some metal cutting, I need them to be pretty shallow.

The housing "glass/plastic" doesn't have ribs across the front, like it does on the sides, does it?

because my projectors were lot bigger in diameter than other ones only thing i had to do was just cut it on right spot where circle projector part fits in and i did a jb wel around it and inside.
I am about to paint inside all black again cause jb wel looks so bad inside

I just got my projectors in today, FedEx screwed up but overnighted them last night to make it up. I got the TSX projector housings, 4300K bulbs and D2S to AMP connectors so I can retain my current ballasts.

I should get around to hacking up my old 7x6's this weekend.

Some HID projector units (BIXENON) use a small motor to move the shield and change the cutoff for low and high beam - the TL is like this. Some systems have an extra halogen bulb for high beam right next to the HID lamp. However, I am going to lose my high beam because the TSX is a single low beam projector.

Yes the NSX lights are cool but they are hard to find last time I looked compared to H6054 housings.
