It's the mechanical pump. It currently connects to the throttle body with bicycle cable but this has been very problematic. I'm going to eliminate it because I am developing an automatic no-hassle premix system.

Had to redo the piping on the TB side of the VMIC to work with the GReddy elbow, came out pretty good. I would like to weld the pipes instead of the couplers but haven't had the opportunity yet. Still have to do the new TID, some ducting for the radiator and wire the freaking e-fan, missing the strut brace in this pic too.

Yea thanks for pointing that out...I'm working on that, that just works for now. Since you kindly pointed that out to me, maybe you can give me info of a company that makes one.

sneedspeed is where I got this one, I got another one for another FC that has a V8 swap, that one I got from Summit Racing but have no installed pics of that one.

I was just pointing it out because the fan takes away from the rest of that engine bay thats all.

Well thanks! I usually fabricate everything on my own, b/c I like to fabricate, just haven't found the right sheet of aluminum to make a shroud out of. But it's still a work in progress, you should know, it's a RX-7, you can never leave it alone or not change anything.

That's one of the nicest engine bays I've seen. Can you post some more pics please? What type of paint do you use? How has it held up?
