to get rid of the CAS. im having trouble with ign break up at high rpm(5k ish) and no boost. its a hall effect sensor. i bought the kit from chris ludwig, who site doesnt work right now for some reason???
anyway, its a magnes that picks up a signal from two magnest in the main crank pulley. it supposed to replicated the same system on the FD and FE. well see if it helps other wise i have other issues to tend to....:s

ahh i see, did think of something like that, but because you have the stock CAS in place is was just wondering...
but ignition failing at those rpm's sounds more coil related then CAS.
i would recommend using a HKS twin-power..
first time my car was on the dyno for tuning, mine did not make much more power above 5k rpm at 14psi. added the HKS unit and it pulled all the way through to 7k

Nothing too special. Only thing I did was added a pepsi bottle with a filter to catch anything that comes out, and to keep oil off the side of my block. And added a small bracket to hold my intake up and off the body. :-D
I saw that and was like, hey! That looks familiar. I can't wait until I can start painting my car. Your going to love my scheme Ian, I have it all worked out in my head. I'll tell you in person tho, cuz I don't want people stealing my awesome idea! ****'s gonna be so original... it will be epic, just wait and see.
Yeah I know, my job had me up in jersey this week and i have a **** load of parts coming in. I'll try to wash her this weekend if i dont get to drunk at the Jack Daniel's RFK Statium event sat.
