Painting the BBS rims on a vert?

Hi All,

I have stock BBS rims in pretty good condition - but I am considering painting them white - I think white rims on a white car look awesome.

What do you all think? Has anybody tried this? pics???

I dunno about white meshies, they are hard enough to keep looking clean with the color they are. I am about to paint mine within the next day or two. I also polished the lips of the wheel. They can look good if you put the work in

Wow man. Nice work on those lips. I want to do mine but have to wait till winter time. You gonna paint them the same color?

And how did you do the lips (method used)?

Wetsanded them step 1 600 grit, step 2 1000 grit, step 3 2000 grit then Mothers Aluminum and Mag Polish

As for the mesh I am gonna paint it black. I picked up some VHT wheel paint today. The Vert is black so I though it would look sick with black wheels with a polished lip.

I will definitely keep an eye on that - Sometimes white cars with black rims can look good - but I'm not sure if the polished look would look good on a white car (but I agree on your car it will probably look awesome)

the black rims look pretty good. i dont know about the whole thing being black. mine used to be black spokes with the lip but it was a horrible paint job.
