Opened Engine Pics "Thread Follow-Up"

Your heart beats,... mine Rotate !!!... for real !!!

here's a follow-up from this thread i had opened i few months ago.
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-non-technical-pictures-198/pics-request-opened-engine-pics-917385/

here's why i needed some pics, i had to get some clear pics for my tattoo artist to get all the details he needed.
he ended up taking a picture from Brian's album (BDC Motosport).

the irony is, it took 7 hours to do !!!!
the effect i wanted him to do is like if some of the skin was teared up and instead of seeing the heart, we could see a rotary engine !!!

The artist is Eric De L'Etoile (funny thing is, he drives a Mazda3 and Trans Am with 383 stroker!! I told him he can tell people he worked on a rotary engine at least once!!)

Here is his shop :

thanks Brian !!
like i stated in my post, my friend who tattooed me, actually took a picture off one of your albums on your website!!

for a guy with a 383 stroker trans am, he was able to make some little "important" things specific to the rotary engine come out. The intake ports, the apex seals, or even the coolant jackets....

one thing is for sure,... i wont swap a LS in that !!

Many people will flame you for getting a ridiculous tattoo, but it's your body! Personally, I don't think it's stupid to get a tattoo if it's meaningful to you.

I like the bio-mechanical look of it. Makes me want to pull out my sketch pad and some pencils.

At least your car is clean, I find it funny when people got busted cars and devote their lives to em.

Maybe that's all they can afford to play with?? Did that cross you narrow minded thought process?

At what point are you going to run out of stupid/ignorant comments?

i don't like car tattoos that are just words or crappy art work.

but this is just amazing, it's more then a rotor its actually good drawing and a piece of art. i would get that. the other tattoos that hypertek put is just stupid i wouldn't put words on me or an entire car. that looks drawn by a middle school student.

thats why i got my friend to do this specific type. he is renowned in Canada as one of the top 3 artist, voted by the rest tattoo artists.
he does a lot of bio-mechanic, morbib/dark stuff, and mostly only black and grey. so i kinda matched all three of his speciality. but again i knew what he can do, its the 2nd tattoo i get from him.

he got the missing flesh effect that i wanted perfectly, and it seems like instead of a heart, i have a rotary engine powering me !!!
but ill post other pictures when the skin will not be as red as it was.

go ahead and draw !! and if you end up with some bio-rotary stuff, dont be shy of posting it here !!
i appreciate this type initiative !!

the funny thing is that i bought it 2 years ago, from a friend of mine who owned it for 12 years. thats the only reason its clean.
and i spent all my money on a j-spec bridgeported engine, t04e hybrid turbo, haltech e6k, and a lot of other mods.

otherwise, i would have painted it black, flat blat !!! Rauh-Welt tuning style !!!!

and not everybody is into nice looking car. i wasnt before i bought my 5th FC.
And before that, back in 2004 i had a sleeper 240sx/rb25 that dynoed 376rwhp. And it looked like crap.
Id rather have the All Go/No Show then the All Show/No Go !!!

IMO, pretty cars are for pretty girls. Fast cars are for fast mens !!

Nice tatoo, I've been tattooing a bit in the past, and I must say that this one is technically really hard to do. I now concentrate on airbrushing...

At least now you wont even give yourself the possibility to think about a V8 swap in your FC, unless you become your own traitor...

I already said this in your other thread, but this one has more hits, so again:

Very nice! Should have gone with more aggressive porting though.
