Need pics of 50 series on 15" rims

I need some pictures to do a comparison.

Debating on tires, and I wanted to see other people who ran a 50 series on a 15 inch rim.
Dont matter if its lowered or stock.

Hell, if you have 50, 55, or 60 post them up. It will be a better comparision.

I can take a picture in the morning. I have 50's in the front on 15's (not my choice. rim swap from parts car) on a car dropped about an inch like yours. You can fit about 4 fingers between the wheel and the fender if you're curious. i'm gonna move back up to 60's when I get some cash. The ride is better and the 50's look kinda dumb unless you're lower or have bigger rims.

You do know that the sidewall varies with the tread width. So a 205/50-15 has a shorter sidewall then a 225/50-15.

No the size of the side wall is 50mm. 225 or 205 its a 50. if you want mad controll in front get the Falken RT615 and in the rear get some kumhoe ecstas. and get 50's cuz the tire wont fold like a 60+.

this is my fc with 50's up front and 60's in the rear. dont ever get 60's to slide on cuz like i said they fold cuz they're too tall

Don't listen to that guy. the sidewall is directly related to the width. Put a 255/50 next to a 205/50 and see the difference.

205/50R15

205 = Width in mm
50 = Sidewall height in % of the width
R = Passenger car
15 = Inside diameter in inches

Wrong. 50 is the ASPECT RATIO of the width. It is a percentage of the width. My 225/50 tires are the same (if not more) sidewall height than the previous 205/55s.

This is my car with 215/50s on the stock 15x6 GXL wheels. Looked funny, 205/50s would be a little worse.

don't speak when you don't know what your talking about, or at least some research.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=46
The 50 indicates that this tire size's sidewall height (from rim to tread) is 50% of its section width. The measurement is the tire's section height, and also referred to as the tire's series, profile or aspect ratio. The higher the number, the taller the sidewall; the lower the number, the lower the sidewall. We know that this tire size's section width is 225mm and that its section height is 50% of 225mm. By converting the 225mm to inches (225 / 25.4 = 8.86") and multiplying it by 50% (.50) we confirm that this tire size results in a tire section height of 4.43". If this tire were a P225/70R16 size, our calculation would confirm that the size would result in a section height of 6.20", approximately a 1.8-inch taller sidewall.

just some info putting 205 50 15 on to replace the 205 60 15 or the 205 55 16 on the gen 2 will give u about an 8% gear reduction. going from a 4.1 to a 4.3 diff that alot of people pay alot to do only gives u 7%

205 50 15 on the stock springs

215 50 15 on the stock springs (rear tires)

But now it's got these to get rid of that wheel gap

and it's dropped a little over an inch. No pics yet...
