had some of the exterior put on today just to see how it would look. Im pretty pleased but i think ill buy some more agressive rims. We bought a pair of "wannabe" rays today for my friends silvia and they are REALLLY nice, and cheap. Im not sure if i want rims with polished edge or not, yet..
I like the way the hood became

Ahh yea it sucked!
If another guy close by painted his FC the same blue color my old FC was i would`ve painted the streetFC in the same color. Now im going with some deep green color maybe..

Your car reminds me of Kenji Takyama's (D1 driver) car from 2005. The orange is different. Will look BOSS when you are done.

My other friend in teh same "drift club" bought some fake rota rims today. They are aaawsome.. I cant understand why people buy real expensive brands for drifting haha, you`ll get 16 rims for the same prices as 4 real ones

True! Many people here who is into drifting got alot of money so there are many insane cars here.
I aint got skills and i usually end up breaking something therfor i spend most of my money/time in the technical part.
Anyway people should do what they want. I dont care if people buy vinyls/paint/CF parts for thoouuusands on theire drift car, besides they probably blame me when we end up in the ditch together haha...

Exactly. The people with 3k wheels have the money to do whatever they want. Trust me 95% of people who actually drift, if they had the money they would have all the expensive stuff too. Me? I'll just slap on some mustang rims and beat the **** out of them and save up for the WORKS later.

Just like in road racing. If everyone had the money for an ALMS car they most likely wouldnt be driving in Honda Challenge or HPDE.

Anyway! Back from the mountains and afterski Ready to get the car running. The car HAS to be mapped within two weeks. Im allready past the final deadline but thats nothing new
Todays plan is to finnish up the cage welds, paint some places inside the car, make a better seat mount and install everything. I was also planning to paint the dashboard matt black. Good ide?

prime the oil pump. i had to remove the front oil cooler line and pour oil in the front cover to build pressure.

Woho! car started today! I had done the coil wiring wrong but sorted it out No one of my new gauges works though, they didnt read any signal.
One other thing thats irritating is that my exhaust doesnt fit anymore!? How the hell could that happend. I have been changeing the engine mounts, but still. It is 10" to far at the rear sub-frame. Last year it was perfect!
License day is on sunday so i have to finnish it up asap.
