No big stuff happend since last time i posted here. Ive used the car now and then on some meets with diffrent results. Anyway the car works like it should and its ready for racing at all times

Ive attended school again this year so the cash flow isnt gonna be as "nice" as 07/08. I still got the daily car project that i hooope gonna start this year! I only have to make a wiring harness for the autronic haha..

Time for an update!
The car started with my recently hacked Autronic SMC. Some friends helped me with unlocking the password protected SMC
Anyway, smc is not often used at 13b`s so with alot of thinking i found out i was going to get it running with just the Leading coils first.

And i did. It fired at once when i got all the setups right! Thanks from mrm-racing.se . Great forum for Autronic users btw.

The plan now is to seal up all the leaks. Exhaustleaks are no prob but i have to take the engine out to seal the oilpan one more time.
When i get the car past emission test etc i have a street legal RX7 again

Then it is paint time. Im lost in the dark here so any suggestions would be nice!
I got three ways to go. I probably roll the rear fenders on all options. I just love the rolled look
1. Full GP sport kit with either clean paint or a flat paint for more race look
2. All stock S5 with a very clean good looking "stock" color
3. Mixed bodyparts with FC2000 front, shine rear fender, new sideskirts and a rear defusor. Flat paint..

I like the race look on cars. My other one is driftstyle and i dont want it to look like that. but yet again, the GPsport kit is kinda clean looking

hard choise!

Sindre

Hi Roar!
Im gonna fix all the minor/"major" leaks on the drifter and make a new bodykit. I also have to figure out how to cool the IC when standing still.. Mount a fan or something.
Its time for the daily now but most of the stuff is for the looks (paint, bodykit etc) and i think im gonna send most of that stuff away to get it perfect.

As for the schoool.. well, it sucks to be pooor all the time and ive been somewhat lazy :P To many new girls to test and partys to wreck.. you know.. hehe

ANyway, ive made my first gpsport copy bumper at Norwegian_rotary(CF 1gen)...

It turned out okey even when we forgot to mix the gelcoat correct :P
I probably need 3-4 next seson

edit: hard to see the finnish but its soo much better than raceonusa`s copy!

Looks great Sindre.

To bad with the gelcoat though, a bit irritating. But next time we'll get a perfect bumper for you, put some more job into the mold as well.. I'll help you with it if you want, so you can get a "ready to paint" bumper next time.

yea i think I/we should fix up the atleast some of the parts where we used tape. Are you able to bring some of the cargo wall-panel glassfiber thing from work? i need to make the mold in more pieces so i can get the bumper as it should be.. if you understand..

The widebody fenders has been ordered btw, need to make molds of them too.. They wont be here before feb 09, so no hurry :P

Im broke, and i blew the twins on my REW engine! How the hell could that just happend? didnt have more than .5bar boost!
All projects are on a stand still until i get a job. Fortunatly i manage to trade my fathers RX7 for a T66 turbo that goes on the drifter. The GT35R turbo on the streetcar... Cant afford new manifold so im using a SSautochrome, an old wastegate and some other cheap-*** parts just to get that car checked! I want plates for the summer

a Picture for the motivasion!
Hopefully i`ll be able to pick my driftcar up next week so i can mount the hydraulic e-brake, lexan rear window and clean the coupe!

Ive been also making some new glassfiber parts at NorwegianROtary`s place.. Sideskirts, inverted hood scoop, front bumpers etc.. Im ready to CRASH!!! SMASH! yea...

Im picking up the T66 turbo this week and im gonna work alot on the car/cars next weekend! Hopefully i can make a new frontbumper and a inverted scoop =) Gotta have molds for everything!
