and one more thing RRTEC just so you know he hates that yellow with a passion, he wishes the guy would have kept it white and he hates the tint, he took it off today and the rims are off of his bmw 330i (i think thats what it is) just so he could get it in the shop, now its on jack stands. The guy wanted 3g for it with the rims he told him to keep the rims and paid 1700 for it.

Yes your vert is slow, I can say it because my base FC was slower [it *was* automatic ^_-] lol... I couldn't outrun anything off the line with it [Ok, so I still can't, but it's a lot faster with a 5sp ]

But it'll be fun. Enjoy it, ignore the rotor-haters, rebuild it when it dies, and never loose faith!

The 7 Can't Loose! [Which really means, even if you loose a race, you still have a nicer car ^_-]

 

The BMW hurts me... I have a passion for BMW's.. But that one is just really rough for the following reasons..

1)- Cheapo Ebay Headlights
2)- Badfitting Bodykit (also ugly kit) with wrong color paint compared to body
3)- Bad paintjob- They didnt even paint under the hood (or jambs I bet)
4)- 330i wheels look horrible on the car (especially white) compared to stock M3 wheels (dont get me wrong, I like 330i wheels- had a set on my 325i, they just are a downgrade from M3 wheels..

I am all about a project, and I have no doubt that all of these cars will see the road again, but the way the original post came though I couldnt help commenting.. I will say that in most forms the M3 will eat your RX7 unless you modify it considerably, and even then.. Those Monte Carlo SS' are not really fast, so you may not have a problem with that one, but it will all depend on the motor he puts in.

As far as your car goes, I have picked up rough riced out rx-7's before.. Ones with big aluminum spoilers, dumb wheels etc.. It's easy to fix the cosmetic problems remove that spoiler, get a set of wheels/tires that are sized correctly, replace the top... But I would be interested in your plans for the motor if you actually plan on competing with any of those other cars..

 

stock those monte carlos had like 150hp

the sky is the limit though when it comes to small blocks, and you can fit a big block no problem in those cars.

i meant suck it in the nicest way possible abtosway lol (lucky for me though im pretty nifty with a hammer, wood, and some nails lol) and RRTEC yeah we noticed the color difference to lol and believe it or not they did paint the door jams and those rims are from his 325i (thought it was a 330 sorry) and he just used those to get it in the shop, im not 100% positive but i think he is going to take the rims off of his 03 m3 that he wrecked and believe me he has a passion for bmw to and hates when they look all riced out lol, its a work in progress (all 3 are, just showing you guys the journey from the beginning) and yeah i know i have some work to do to keep up, also with the ss, he is putting a big block in there i believe. But like i said im not worried i have something special for my fc to put in during the summer and believe you me i do not give a **** what it looks like, in my book performance always FIRST, cuz whats the point of having a fast looking car if it doesnt go fast lol (and yes i do already have what i am going to put in there, just trying to get some money together first so its not sitting in parts when i do the swap ) and RRTEC and grip its a real m3 ill post pics of the vin sticker when i get home, at school now and computer has blocks :/

Swapping in an e46 engine into that car is not the easiest thing.. But can be done.

 

oh yeah i forgot to put this earlier, that front bumper on that bmw is a e46 bumper (i believe thats what he said), im guessing thats why you guys dont think its an m3, but i dont know to much about bimmers, but im posting abunch of pics later of all three cars

i just found out that e46 is a generation of the m3, im going to stay quiet about stuff i dont know, makes me look ignorant lol and im going to stick with mainly updates on my car, after all this is an rx7 forum. Tired of posting about their cars, they have their own forums

dude just a word of advice, dont post on here talking about drift battles and drag racing without having done anything to ur car or the other cars not running lol. If ur boy is gonna swap the new 05 m3 motor then he wont be "drift battling" anyone for a while, that swap is gonna be a long process. And i luv me a nice monte, but even with those mods g-bodies arent gonna be fast.

Not hating, just saying get some **** done before u post :]

like i said big88chevy the ss does run he will have the engine rebuilt in a few weeks and i never said my boy was going to put the new m3 motor in it, i said i think he is going to take the rims off of it. He is keeping the motor thats in the 95 m3 in it, he just has to replace the pistons which he is currently looking at and trying to decide which ones to get and i know g bodies arent fast with those mods, but he has a full motor sitting at the mechanic shop he works at he just has to get a few more things for it, i think its a 400 sb. I suppose i cant blame yall for "hating" well not encouraging me lol cuz i have been on here way before i became a member and always see people talk **** about what they are going to do and dont. But believe me im not one of those people, i was just trying to introduce myself and bring yall along for the ride of the projects unfolding. Hasnt anyone heard if you dont have anything nice to say dont say nothing at all lol, but ill leave yall to yalls hating lol. I guess ill stay off till i get something done so i can show yall. later, oh yeah its going to be finish line: rx7 blows by.......................ummmm where is the other guys its not about the car, its the driver, just a word of advice, but the car does help lol.

 

alien- you came here saying you have this challenge with these other cars, we say you will lose. You say you have some secret mods in mind- why dont you share the mods with the class instead of being so cryptic? If you didnt want to say the mods you should have known you would get told your car will lose to the others, but at this moment in time its going to boil down to who can push their car the fastest so get yourself some good traction sneakers and I bet you can roll your seven faster then they can roll their cars up the block

 

Well, I have to say about 3 paragraphs (or run on sentences) ago you said: "if that motor doesn't work he has an 03 M3 that he wrecked".. Which would lead one to believe that he would be pulling the motor and dropping it in the e36.. SO you can understand the confusion.

Good luck with the project. I hope this thread dies until you post up here your ongoing progress. Most of us aren't 10 years old so the suspense of waiting to see what mods you are planning does nothing for us... Right now I assume your modification list is either non existant, or sucks or why wouldn't you tell anyone??

Im def not hating Alien, but u need to realize we have seen people claim wild **** on this forum. And in the past couple years this forum has gone from smart comments and good people to uneducated comments and judgmental people(with some exceptions). I hate to be skeptic about what u are saying, but if you were to present ur thread a little different im sure u would get more support.
