What happened to the hood? Your apartment manager seems really uptight. I'm happy I don't have to deal with him.

Build looks great so far! Streetport sounds good!

To be honest, I'd prefer the red S5 with just the lip. Pretty mean looking. I'd also add TII side skirts.

i totally agree that red car is my #1 car and all i need is the lip and side skirts. i do love the infini green color though without the body kit. i'm still unsure of what color i'll paint it, stock red or infini green..... decisions decisions lol

it's actually not bad working on a parking lot, i do have access to my brothers garage whenever i want... now.... lol

i haven't really done anything post worthy but what i have done is
fixed my passenger side seat belt rail and went to mazda to order a new driver side seat belt rail

fixed my heater (clogged heater core)

bought missing interior (thanks to scrapfc)

got some wheels (thanks to clokker)

fixed my speedometer cable, if yours ever breaks trust me just buy a new one, i spend 3 hours trying to repair mine. in the end i just bought a new and took me 10 minutes to replace. and you don't have to remove the cluster just reach under the dash its easier if you have small hands

fixed my sunroof now it opens up on its own with no assistance from me

switched door handles since mine was broken

unclogged the drain hoses in the hatch

burped my coolant system

removed p/s and a/c installed manual rack (love manual rack)

fixed fog lights

cleaned the car (engine bay, interior)

modernized taillights

things still to do

racing seats, roll cage , harness (want to do autox)
new motor mounts
refinish ftp lenses
godspeed radiator
efan
move intake filter to front of radiator
front/rear strut bars
odura lip
new tires (for the "new" wheels)

repair/replace broken interior trim, i really want to fiberglass everything and paint it but i'm worried it might look like crap.

install manual seat belts
quick release hub for steering wheel
remote start alarm system
racing beat full exhaust (or i'll hand make my own exhaust piping with rb mufflers)
paint the car, i'm so undecided on the color my options are:
1. factory red
2. efini green
3. pearl white
4. black with purple pearl
5. black with red pearl
6. black with green pearl
7. dark purle
8. dark red
9. stock artic silver

2 tone paint jobs:
1. black on the bottom silver on top
2. satin black on the bottom, satin black with gloss on the top
3. red on the bottom, white on top
4. black on the bottom, red on top

and the list goes on...

oh there is more i need to do but i'm patient so all this will come someday.

open sun roof
spray any moving parts with wd40
close sun roof.
open sun roof
spray and clean the railing again
do that a few times and eventually all the crud and dirt will come of. if your problem is the motor not being strong enough than that won't really help. but my motor worked fine it was just the railing being dirty.

most likely it is dirty, ever since i cleaned it the roof opens by its self and is at least twice as fast than before.

nice nice, I'll try the wd40 cleaning. Mine works fine but it needs a little push when I want to open it from fully closed status.

soon it will be painted i was going to buy more goodies but instead i'm saving everything for the paint job. i'll do the body work and have someone spray it.

more updates are i got it registered (like 2 months ago lol) but while at the emission center i have 4 guys trying to find my engine the 4th guy left right before the picture was taken.

and like i said i modernized my taillights and here is a picture of the honey comb still on the lens for those wondering what it looks like.

and crappy after picture

did a nice camera mount, only problem is the glove box doesn't close when in use

i also experimented with installing honda civic seats but they were too tall. i love those seats cause of its weird head rest.

i had mazda replace my seat belt rail, but i removed the interior trim my self. don't want them breaking my stuff. this is how i took it to them.

i also had a spare rear carpet and tried something not seen alot.

because of the kill switch thread, i have decided to install a fuel pump kill switch maybe this weekend.

it did after 3 tries because the idiot driver couldn't fallow the line on the screen, and when they started the car they would rev the **** out of it.

i "modernized" them by removing the honey comb between the housing and the clear lens. the light bulb is now visible but they are not dot legal.
