so she is ready for the new engine to drop in

=)

but while my mechanic helps me drop in the engine i'll do some other stuff
like remove the fog lights that i will be selling soon

and installing the new pedals that i didn't like because the gas pedal is way to small

and the hood is not installed just placed on top because the manager came yesturday saying i was getting towed

oh and i removed the paint of the rims now they are shiny but i still got to clean them and maybe buff them or something

i probly am doing a few things wrong but its my first time so i expected my self to brake a few things here and there lol and yeah sometimes the easy things turn out to be harder then they look like the

update for the car i went to my mechanic today to check on my engine he said to take the car tomorrow to start dropping in the engine (which should have been done a week ago) wish me luck guys

more updates i found something else that was broken

the clutch release bearing
one of the little wings was completely broken off is that normal?

i already got a new one but just curious if the bearing breaking is the start of some new problem

and good news the engine is installed and most everything is connected just need a few things here and there.

its not normal for a clutch release bearing to get damaged like that.

the car is finally running. it started right up today and the only problem is my speedometer doesn't work but all the other gauges work so i think its just the cable that is not connected or its broken i will take a look tomorrow since today is time to clean it

This thread, for some reason reminds me of the guy who lived in an HOA condo. They booted his car for parking violations, so he put it on rollers and rolled it into his garage with the boot attached. I tried to find the link, but I couldn't find it.

EDIT: Found epic thread, read it, it is awesome....

more work to my car.

doing a a/c delete and installing a manual rack.
i would have been done today but since my car is open already i am cleaning out all the dirty oil dust and anything keeping my engine bay from being clean.
here are some pictures.

comparing the manual rack to power steering rack.

and my engine going from stock to good track/street car

all this was removed

for those who have done a manual rack how did you get the steering wheel to align right with the wheels any tips or do i just get the steering wheel straight and get one wheel straight bolt it up then do the other wheel? let me know how u did it. thanks
more mods coming up later this week.
