I think the Mustang rims look good. I'd be ok with them, as long as none of the rednecks around here noticed...

Ugh, the more I see those the better I think they look. I usually don't think aftermarket rims look good either. I'm a fan of the stock look (S4) believe it or not.

Just how shiny could that lip be if polished? Black rim with a polished lip is awesome. The stang rims are a little reminiscent of the FN01R, only concave.

There have been some bad experinces with powdercoating aluminum rims.
Sometimes the process makes them brittle and they crack under extreme force like cornering or launching.
I would leave them the way they are.

Yeah...a good enamel spray paint would work.
I have a friend who does powdercoating for a living. He has powdercoated lot's of parts on my car. Once, he powdercoated my pulleys. I installed them and fired up my car. One of them wobbled! It had actually warped from the powdercoating oven!
Now I paint my stuff in the engine bay with high temperature paint! Is just as tough and looks just as good and you don't have to worry about the powdercoating oven compromising anything.
BTW...I have 255/40/17 on the back and 245/40/17 on the front. NO SPACERS.

I just wanted to know how much the 245s will rub in the front? Because all I do is drive fast through turns.

Yeah...how wide could you run with the Super Angle Steering Kit? Would you have to cut out part of the fender well? Because id happily do that in the pursuit of more grip and steering angle.

Also do 275's fit in the rear? or is 255 pretty much as big as you can go?

You all overpaid. I just bought the same ones pictured for $50 for the set. Mint. Tires are going on Friday, so I'll put up pics this weekend.

Nice man, don't forget to post those pics, those rims look sweet. What year/model are those from? Are you keeping the centercaps?

I think I have reached the limits as far as tire size goes.
Of course it has a lot to do with what suspension you are running.
I can tell you, the tire shop put the 255's on the front of my car and they didn't rub. It depends on the tire manufacturer also. Different manufacturer's have different standards.

Hmmm. Ok, well for one, mine aren't the polished ones. They are the silver. They are lighter than the sold 5 spoke 99+ GT's. Why do they look like *** again??

That is a pic of Crusader_9x's car.

I'm going to be running 225/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 in the back.
