I want to rebuild an 13bt...

But the lack of having a garage or any where to work on one is killing me

These are the times when I hate living in an apartment.

you can totally do it in an apartment.

thats what the bathtub is for.

or... put in a shallow tub so you dont get fluid everywhere.

easy.

Do it. It would be awesome if you successfully rebuilt it. before you do anything though, make sure you have what you need from the Factory Service Manual and then make sure you have enough money to rebuild it properly. Will it have to go down any stairs after it's finished? Or are you just going to use it for a coffee table when you're done?

I used an engine stand in my apartment to build my first and only engine. Had all the parts in boxes already and, me and my brother-in-law stacked it in an afternoon... watch out for the oil control rings, those bitches are sharp and be sure to install the oil control ring springs right the first time.

Clear out a big area and get all your pieces and get the FSM or whatever and go for it!!

The keg will fit into a large rubber maid tub...so then why can't you do it in your apt?

Rebuild it in your apartment. Watch it blow up a week later.
