Harbor freight for the hoist. I bought one brand new for $160. Within the first 6 months of owning it, had rented it out to so many friends, I had made my money back from the purchase and then some. 10$ here and there adds up fast when you know people that work on cars.

As for the glass, if you want to try and swap it, propane torch and piano wire are your friend.

This is what i did, kinda.

Like when i got my fc, i made damn sure the guy threw up cash on his end so i could get another fc i had "stashed" away at the junkyard that nobody else knew about.

The running car was so freakin beat/screwed up/jank that i had no choice but to get another car to rape parts from.

I would totally buy both, drop the TII in the s4 chassis, swap whatever parts you need/like on and enjoy the **** out of your HARD work and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back.

It all depends on HOW bad you want to have a nice car. You have the means. Buy em both if you can.

If you run low on funds, sell parts you dont need off of either car. I spent about 6 months just swapping parts from one car to another and made $1400 halfway parting out an s4 na FOUR LUG and then made another $200 when i had to have the chassis crushed .

I hope this helps man.

Dont swap vins. I ALMOST did it but decided it wasn't worth the risk of having my car crushed if i was had. I have shitty luck and even if i could have gotten away with it, i needed peace of mind.
