CA MY new MS seats =]

here are a few pictures of them out of the car... will post more pictures when i upload them

now that they are mounted, i dont like the fact that they sit a little higher than stock and the fact that its very uncomfortable when the seat is flat and not sitting at an angle like how ROB XX 7 mentioned in his thread on his MS seats...

Both of those sets are fake. They're not Mazdaspeed seats, they're just some random seat with the logo stitched on.

The Speed 3 seats look better, but the other two sets look pretty good. How much for the knock-offs, I might need seats for my FB?

I can say I have first hand experience with the 20 yr old seats in a pretty bad accident. They held up fine, and are good enough to go in my current project car.

well without a side by side comparison one cannot say.

Some people also do not have thousands to spend on seats

Everytime someone posts their new seats someone comes along and makes comments like this, people who buy seats for a few hundred dollars know what they are getting into.

The fact that they are knock offs doesn't mean they are structurely inferior in any way.

On the other hand, a Corbeau isn't all that expensive, and piece of mind is priceless.

FWIW, I recently bought a set of OEM FD seats out of a 30k mile car for 300 bucks. They fit perfectly, are comfortable as...well, OEM seats, and they look great. IMO, the best bet for RX-7 seats (unless you track the car a lot) is a set of clean FD stockies.

Just letting someone know they're fake -- how is that being a "hater" -- I have two sets of genuine JDM Mazdaspeed Type-F seats. I know what the real ones look like.

It's not like I called them lame, I'm just trying to make a correction as this thread makes it seem like these are real. Hence the thread title.

They're not, they're eBay specials with Mazdaspeed stitched into them. You can find the same seats with Mugen, TRD, or whatever on them.
