glass/cf hoods
I want to see pictures of CURRENT hoods, and by that I mean hoods that one can actually buy.
No need for some one-off japan **** that you cant buy, or something made 10 years ago that is no longer availible.
I want to see what is out there that someone in the USA can order and actually get on thier car in less then 6 months time.
I see the same handfull of hoods being sold by different companies and frankly I dont like any of them.

if you dont like any of the current selection of hoods, then why not create your own?

I dont have time to create my own, if I did that it would take me a year to complete
I have the full capability to do so, just no time.
I always wanted to do a low cowl induction hood, I just dont know how it would look, by low I mean 2"-3" max.

there are tons of them on ebay.
I see shine is going to make the panspeed hood, I think I am going to keep my eye on that thread and see if I can talk myself into that hood, just hate that the engine compartment will get wet when I wash the car.

just make a rain tray that sits at the bottom of the scoop like the GT500KR hood, the scoops are still functional but the engine does not get wet.

thats the one I was talking about, I like the hood just not sure about the water it might let in.
For the price its a good deal, and I dont like CF so I wont have to feel like a goof paying for a "CF" hood and painting it.
I will look into this rain tray thing, more from car washing not from driving in the rain- I dont drive the car in the rain.
