I have an S5 NA and basically stock and the biggest fireball I ever got is when my grandma died and i took off full speed with the engine cold. It was like a shotgun blast under the car and I thought the engine exploded.

Other than then that I usually get little blue flames from the exhaust when I am ******* around, under normal driving, it doesn't flame at all. The only reason I know about the blue flames is because of buddies driving behind me.

RX7 Turbo Launch Control:

I'm running megasquirt's launch control feature. Pulling 25° of timing and cutting spark at 4500rpm. Opens the wastegate with the car in neutral!

OK nice "flamages"

Nice race pic:-) and im too scared to turn on launch control with my car.. i tried it without changing the timing once and it scared the **** out of me and i could tell that the pressure was so much it blew smoke threw my exhaust gaskets. That was enough to make me go maybe i shouldnt do this.

This was just some quick fun, and the usual flames.

At times I have had 6 foot long ones, they don't sound like a gun shot though, more as if I ran over a raccoon. large thump and I see them curling up into the air through the rear view mirror

When mine does the "thud" you describe its lighting off inside the muffler, which is visible, but the flame doesn't come out. When the flame comes out on my car it sounds like a shotgun.
