fireballs: good vrs bad

It's a "normal" thing. The RX-7s run rich, and have a very hot exhaust. Afterburn outside the tailpipe is normal if emissions control is removed (and even if it's not removed, sometimes).

FYI, they happen when the car runs rich. The gas is hence rich in the ehxaust, where it is *VERY* hot. To the tone of 1600 degrees or more depending on how you're driving. The gas can't combust in the exhaust because of lack of oxygen. The second that very hot gas meets the cooler oxygen outside the exit of the ehxuast, it instantlhy combusts, causing said fireballs.
