wow that is quiet.....makes me want to completely fix my entire exhaust when i get enough money haha

i like mine right now but i need to re weld and get new gaskets and fix an exhaust leak near my manifold...cant tell if its off the housing or the flange that connects to pre cat eliminators after fixing all that it'll still loud and i would like a nicer set up, like yours, but that will come when the car is further along its tuning life haha

custom downpipe and mid muffler cost me 350, plus 70 ish off ebay for the magnaflow. old N1 cat back came with the car so that was a freebee, and the WS II cost me 200 off ebay. plus another 80 to weld it on. so about 700 bux. i would have just bought a full exhaust but i didn't like the ones available and it would have needed to be modified because of the new turbo system.

it is really quiet from inside the car! i drove home and i can hear only the engine while cruising. when i get it on the lift this weekend i will take full pics from underneath. the tone has also changed dramatically, it is much deeper than the N1 and there isn't that drone while cruising. i will eventually redo from the cat back to reposition the muffler a little farther in, but for now it will do.( and it will stop toasting my bumper)

i highly recommend this muffler, unfortunately Apexi never made a full cat back. if you are looking for something that is quieter but can still flow well then this should do.

I think my racing beat is as quiet as that or quieter- why do you not like dual exausts?
My system is not all racing beat, but the mufflers, pre-silencer, and y-pipe are all rev II parts.

if someone was ready to spend $700 and does not have access to a exaust shop I would suggest the RB system

i don't know why, i just prefer single. less pipes, i like the look of a single better.
i agree, if you don't have access to a welder or fabrication skills the just buy an exhaust. but i didn't like what was offered so i made my own.

Thanks for posting the clips! I like the sound of that. One reason to go single is for WEIGHT! A single would have to be SUPER heavy to come anywhere near the weight of the typical dual exhaust.

this is the one i used. it is much cheaper on ebay, like almost half price. i had this before i put in the WS II muffler and it was still loud, so i don't think that it helped that much. there is room for the 5" round muffler.

NY took it out for a spin today

her is my video from today. acceleration from 1st through 5th gear up to 80 mph. 10 psi GT35R turbo, WS II muffler.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoYeitOcJ5w

i measured the muffler by eye today, it is approximately 14" long, 11"wide and about 8" high. overall length is about twenty something inches due to the tip and 3 inches of pipe at the inlet. yea it is big, i am going to remove the heat shield and put some heat tape on the gas tank, since it taps a little bit.

it sucks that you have to have the cat. the magnaflow took the place of the cat. i suggest putting a similar muffler before that cat, but then you would have to have a custom downpipe.

well i can run a muffler as a test pipe but my exhaust would be louder when getting tested for smog haha besides i like the air pipe plugged in for my na's extra ports to open up but it wont be too much trouble to put the silencer on the my down pipe its already straight piping anyways lol
