FC vs. FD

I'm just curious what you all think. Cause I feel like I'm one of the very few people in excistence that thinks the FC is just way sexier and way more badass than the FD. Everyone says they look better and just got the FC cause it was cheaper. But IMO I would take alot for me to wanna trade out my FC for an FD! So what do you guys think?

Here's some pics of my favorite sevens (that are similar)
Didn't ask anyone to use their photos, so don't get mad, be happy cause if I use your car than you know its one of the sickest Rx7s.... so shutup!

Yeah you're probably the minority, but I'm there with you. I have an FC because I wanted one, not because it's "all" I could afford as it is often the case for others. Don't misunderstand me though, I would never slander the FD as it has obvious improvements and is superior technologically. The FD is a legend. Of course, neither would I slander the FB because it's the RX-7's roots and if not for the success of the FB, FC's would probably not exist. I like them all, just prefer the FC.

There's many reasons people like one car or another, but the FC is just me. I like a car with lines, or rounded off square I think is the approx design term. FD's are beautiful, but perhaps too seductive for me. Oh and the interior is smaller and there's no vert version.

Yeah I had an FC because it was all I could afford but after a while I completely fell in love with the FC and its styling. It changed my perspective but now I really love the FC as a classic yet desirable sports car and the FD as more of a really good looking sports car.

I think of the FC as being a square version of the FD and vice versa. There are times I have looked at an FC and felt it was better looking than an FD.

I think FDs are better but I must say, there are some sweet and really aggressive looking FCs out there. I think a widebody FC is one of the meanest looking cars out there.

I much prefer to see a modded FC than an FD. But if we are only talking stock, FDs win.

I think the FC looks better off the line. The FD isn't as mean looking off the line imo. But as for a hooked up FD, those are badass.

I like both though.

I have always been in love with fcs. I like Fds too but there is something about the fcs that clicks inside me...I could easily buy an fd here but i do not want. My friends have spirit r fds, Rz fds etc (beautiful pieces of machinery by the way) but a modded wide bodied fc is my favorite. Maybe I am of the few too... :-) Plus its the rare factor of having an fc here. For every 50 fds you see you are lucky if you see one fc.

i really love my fc because they are soo easy and cheap to make badass, fd on the otherhand are expensive all around. but if it was down to looks bone stock vs bone stock or fully modded vs. fully modded IMO the fd wins. sorry to be a naysayer, lol

it really is something that clicks, thats the reason i got mine. I honestly would like to have an FD, but my Honda friends also like only the FD and they dont really like my FC much which in turn makes me like my car even more because its so unique. But how can you guys just choose one 7 they're al beutiful cars i cant really pick one top model. Any of them in stock or modded form look drop dead gorgeous!

^ Thats what I'm sayin. I think Juicehs vert is the sexiest seven I have ever seen! Nothin comes close. Well D CUPS FD maybe, thats why I put them together, cause D CUPS FD is one of the sexiest FDs I've seen.... minus squeezing 245s on his wide *** wheels. (too much stretch for my liking)

FD is a great chassis, hence why alot of tuners in japan still build on the FD chassis and still develop parts for it. I expect all of you guys to say "FC fawk yeah!" cuz most of you have a fc lol

FC aftermarket development is pretty much dead... no new bodykits etc.. where as new FD kits come out all the time. They kept the FD chassis in production for like 10 years?

im sorry but go look at a stock 93 rx7 and say its not gorgeous, still one of the prettiest cars to come from japan that we can get stateside.

Timeless looks.

Agreed! The FD is simply, the best damn looking japanese sports car from the early 90's next to the NSX.

I love my FC but when ever I pull up next to my uncles 93 red R1, my ***** still drop.

Its easy... I like the FC

Kinda like sayin whats hotter; blondes or asians. It is preference, I just sometimes feel my opinion is so biased that its more like female football players vs models, and I chose the manly football players. Cause everyone thinks I'm crazy when I laugh at their face when they ask when I'm gonna "upgrade to an FD" Never bitchezz, I love the FC!

i love my FC, and i just bought a MkIV supraTT because it's a little newer feeling. i don't think that FD's are "better" looking since it's totally different looking. But i don't want to part with my track toy, the FC is cheaper to make just as fast as an FD, and I love 80's cars.

True... Over time they look better than teh 300zx *it looks dated now*, held its value bettter than the Z *even tho the 300zx is one of my favorite cars when i was growing up*, and i think is a better value than the supras which are valued overpriced in my opinion
