I like all the versions of the RX-7 (1st, 2nd, 3rd) but my favorite is the FC. Everything about them screams drive me. FDs feel more like a status car and most people that own them don't really drive them and the few people that I have seen drive them try to drag them (which is a bad idea in itself). I do have to say though I have always seen one or two (RX-7s) built by people that just make me drool.

I love my FC, and since them have grown to love rotaries and the almost culture behind it. I will admit that I would trade my FC for and FD straight up, but it would be hard letting go of my FC. However building an FC "right" (rare parts etc...), is harder than an FD but the reward is so much greater. Plus whenever you see an FC in a magazine, it's shocking unlike an FD (not that I dont mind seeing them)

come on its obvious the FD vs FC stock for stock SHOULD be all in favor for the FD what company would ever make a new gen car that was worse than the gen b4 it? but i feel what spideyfan said that the FC is the middle child. people can tell the FD out of a crowd but unless people knew the FC they probably wouldnt even pass it for a 7 because all they knew was the FD. i personally love my FC she gets my attn. now what really makes me irritated is the new rx8 owners that have no idea what their driving just that its mazda's sports car but that's an entirety in itself.

I'm hoping you were being sarcastic, cause I sure was, look at the lip, and skirts and shape, and just about everything, cars are so similar! Funny how an 08 can be so similar to a 93. Just shows how far behind america is. Just now they build a decent car, that looks like an early 90's jap car. Congrats GM!!!! Ur frickin retarded and deserve to go under!

I first loved the FD, but only if I could dump lots of $ into it. It would probably put me in so much debt trying to make it the way I like it. I've always loved my first gen RX7, so I decided to get a FC. I love the FC way more than any car now. Hands down.

I have an FC, but i would trade it for an FD in a second.
the whole reason i got into rx7s was due because of the FD. I love how its 16 years old but can be pulled off as a modern car.
Once i get a better paying job my FC will be gone and an FD will take its place in my parking spot. If only i had the money. Ever since need for speed udnerground ive never liked any japanese car more.
i picture myself having a navigator and a FD when i purchase a home of my own and have a fam.
