Sequential turbocharging or variable area turbine. But then expect to up the fuel consumption considerably.

Or just accept the fact that no rotors make decent torque down low lmao. Get a plonker if you're after that.

there isnt many ways to add toque to a rotary without basically doing a full build. but there are a few ways to make sure you keep the torque you have.

inertia aids and creates torque. so, keep the stock flywheel. also the heavier TII drivetrain aids in that. dont lighten the rotors.

or just be gay and add a huge torque producing paper weight V8...

I'll bet you've never driven such a car.
T'aint nuttin "gay" or "paper weight"-ish about it.

Granted, it completely changes the nature/focus of the car but, depending on what you're looking for, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

port it....my buddy that use to work for mazda helped build this rx7 that only had somethin like 185hp but like 300+ ft/lbs of torque don't quote me on the exact numbers but I couldn't believe it either....keeping that thing on all fours from a stop was nearly impossible...basically you can up the torque, but with anything that does with 7's, you gotta have $$$

you did say the easiest right?

this is the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the words torque, 13b, and easiest.

keep stock ports, use small-diameter intercooler piping, and run a hell of a lot of boost. your torque curve will be awesome

im not so sure on what was said about lighter flywheel/drivetrain reduces torque? can somebody explain that one? I can see how it will help the top end, but i cant see how it will hurt the low end

Every modification that adds HP adds toque. As HP is a calculation involving RPM and torque, you add torque to add HP (or add RPM).

A modest boost increase will help greatly. Get an FCD and turn the boost up to 8 PSI and you'll be a lot happier without having to spend a great deal of money on fuel mods. Or, you can get similar effect by opening up the exhaust and intake even if the boost remains stock (which is kind of hard to do because of the small wastegate).

I am a big fan of.....

http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=28

But a little out of my price range. Saving up for it though. Should help me win a bunch more races.....

If not, I'll just go back and redo them.

Where do you want to add torque? Low end torque? High end torque? You have low compression rotors and a restrictive untuned exhaust. A turbo is pretty restrictive compared to a header! That combined with little displacement leaves little low end torque. As a person who drives an n/a all the time, I'm not sure what you are worried about. My n/a is a torque monster compared to my Civic which is just a plain joke.

On a serious note, more boost on the stock turbo will give you a nice broad torque band.

On a not so serious note, piston return springs can help too. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...products_id=27.

"KaleCoAuto has produced the highest quality piston return spring to date! High temperance chromed metal resists temperatures up to 300'f. KaleCoAuto piston return springs FORCE the pistons back into the motor, no longer relying on gravity! This effectively increases your revs, horsepower, and peak torque! You must buy one return spring per piston. Rotary engines require install of pistons for full compatibility. One per piston. Please specify if you are using a boxer motor!"
