Like a has been said before, get a FCD and crank up the boost a bit.

Er, in stock form the 90 TII accelerated from 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds, which puts it about even with a 95 BMW 750iL, 68 Chevrolet Corvette 427, or 68 Lamborghini Miura V12.

Cars that accelerate SLOWER:

63 Aston Martin DB5
80 Ferrari 308 GTS
77 Pontiac Trans Am
82 Pontiac Trans Am
55 Porsche 550 Spyder

That means that in good stock condition, you will out-accelerate James Bond, Magnum P.I., Smoky and the Bandit, James Dean, and Knight Rider. As also stated by rotarygod, I'm not sure what you are worried about, lol.

Rotational portions of the drivetrain act as an inertia sump. It takes torque to initially feed them to put them in motion, but they release torque back to the system as they slow down. For example, a high-inertia (aka "heavy") flywheel will help a lot with torque during a launch from a standing start in which the engine is revved up prior to engaging the clutch. The down side is that it takes torque to feed the flywheel, which will slow the acceleration rate of the engine while driving.

NA guys swap in a modified Miata trans and modified first gen ring and pinion gears to raise the effective gear ratio while also reducing the rpm drop from shifting.

I was using NOS to add my over 300 whp of torque because we all know rotaries make so much more torque than HP.

That was until I blew the welds on the manifold.

dude it was insane. Sparks were flying everywhere. I was drag racing. It was only a quarter mile but it seemed to last like 45 seconds at least. Mad scientist had to fix my fried piston rings. I guess it doesnt matter though because losing is losing, whether it is an inch or a mile.

ANyways-

to OP-

we are busting your chops because there is NO way in hell an NA is going to make stock hp and put out that much torque. It is laughable. It is like the word eleventy. It just doesnt happen. And since you seemed to beleive him we are giving you hell.
