really late to the game but thats a 3rd gen prelude seat. Judging by the fabric its from a 91...i know that because i drove one for 10 years. I actually recognized it instantly from the fabric.

one of the most comfortable seats ive ever sat in. the stock s4 seats are the most uncomfortable ones ive ever sat in so this swap is kinda intersting

 

The base seats, maybe. The GXL and Turbo seats are really comfortable.

 

The GXL seats from my S5 are extremely comfortable. The TII seats that originally came in my S4 though were not that comfortable. I love the reclinable Recaros I have now though. Comfortable and hold you tight.

 

the seat pan outside support in my TII hit me in the back of the leg and it hurt after like 20 mins.

I suppose seat comfort is a pretty subjective thing. Ive taken a few cross country journeys in my FCs and was always impressed with GXL seats.

Given the age of these cars, I'd say that the ways in which most of the foam supports has worn over the years cuts into how comfortable they are. Ive been very fortunate with all but one set of seats in my years as an FC enthusiast. The rest were in pretty good nick.
