Thumbs up Couple Pics from Today After Longer Test Drive

I got a chance to get it out for a 30 min drive today, beautiful weather and nice roads made for a pleasurable cruise. It's gonna be neat to actually get to drive it this summer, actually I have some rims going on in a few weeks. These are from earlier today.

What do you think??

I saw the engine rebuild thread of this car.

Simply beautiful.

Post some pics of the new rims when you get them.

They are just some cheap random headlight housings. The HID's were completely separate.

I have a set of cheap H4 housings... I hate them... Looking at getting a set of DOT approved H4 housings... They make a much better light pattern and I hear you can actually see in heavy rain...

i think those are from ebay, iono, but nice wheels and good choice going for HID. =) thumbs up for HID. put the HID and see how the lights goes. Well if they really work as projector like stock cars that has them that will be great. good luck

are you going to lower your car?

make sure car inspected before equipping the hid's..will never pass you with normal hid's due to no differnt light shade..aka high/low beams.

Lights

Okay well I installed the HIDs today, cool setup, nice and simple. I think they look pretty good too.

The car just passed inspection a few days ago, and the HIDs wouldn't have been the biggest problem with inspection.

The engine bay paint is Duplicolor Ceramic Engine Paint, the whole engine was stripped, sanded, primed and painted. See here - '87 TII Ovehaul - from bouncing idle to engine refurbishment .

I'm definitely lowering it, I'm just waiting for some more loot to buy the Racing Beats springs.

Nice on all the purchases.

I have the same setup for hids. Tried driving around at night with the HIDs yet. You can see everything.

Here's a pic showing the HOD on the right vs the Halogen on the left, just note that the HID headlight assembly is upside down in this particular picture. They have a similar pattern as the halogens just a lot brighter.

I will get better pics of the lights when I have a chance, I ahvem't even got to drive it yet with the lights.
