The big 5-0-0 (don't mind me)

Totally self indulgent post, sorry.
I had to do something. This probably belongs in (and will likely be moved to) the lounge, but I never go there and it is a pic of an fc...

Aww, I thought this was going to be a thread about a 500 horsepower FC
Congrats on the 500 posts though I guess. I was pretty excited when I hit 1k a little while back.
Oh, I pray for your sake that this does not get moved to the lounge

me too. I thought some people here might like it.
I'm trying to save up for an RX-8, which means spending as little as possible for a while. But it's getting harder to avoid buying new stuff for the fc.
i.e. I recently blew a coolant hose. Instead of just buying the hose, I also bought a lower radiator hose, a thermostat, all the belts, two gauges and the adapters to install them (so I don't have to drill anything). I almost bought wheel spacers too. Modifying is much more fun than saving.

Everytime I look at it, I want to buy new shocks/springs/tires/etc. I may eventually cave in and do some of my planned upgrades, but I really want an RX-8.

nice
I figure my sport doesn't have much going for it, so I'm going for the best mileage I can. 95 psi compression at 202k miles, I hope I can make it last till at least 250k.

I'm afraid I'd get too bummed out if I ever checked my compression on my coupe. It's got so many miles, it has to be gettin down there. but it runs like a son of a bitch so I think it may still be doin pretty good. startin to get a puff of white smoke when I start it after sittin for several days, so I prolly got a coolant seal showin some wear

Nothing serious. I'll probably do something similar for #1000. Though at this rate, that will take a few years.
you're right. fixed.
