anybody have the cf moonroof panels?
I talked to someone from a company(can't remember exactly who right now, but I'll try and remember) that makes frp parts for fc's and he said that they make a sunroof replacement panel, and it total it saved 21 lbs right from the top of the car(best place to remove weight, also hardest because nothing removable is up there hahaha)
There is one here: Mazda 86-91 RX-7 Sunroof Panel | Carbon Fiber [C7-MRX7-SRFP-CF] - $399.00 : C7 Carbon Fiber, Aerodynamic Parts
I'm probably going to just have a panel welded over the sunroof "hole" one day when I get it painted. All FC sunroofs rot. Sunroofs in general break, and for me it always seems to break open when I'm out in the middle of some crazy storm.

Yea the sunroof its self is pretty messed up. Rust if the roof is fine. And now a freshly painted rust free . Besides the sunroof. We tired but stills looks bad. So its buy a new sunroof or buy the cf panel thing
I have one, bought it this summer along with the CF hood scoop, can't remember the vendor but it was cheap and fit perfect. I'll have to dig up some pics and info for you.
Holy cow, just realzied mine was C7 brand - but it cost $229 back in April of this year (hood scoop was $149 instead of $278), that's crazy it went up like that. But it does fit well and looks great. They were awesome to deal with too, the first sunroof panel arrived with some damage to a corner. Lloydi was an excellent help in getting the new panel shipped out ASAP without hassle.
