VIS Carbon Fiber - Drift Style Hood (Misc Questions)
I'm currently researching the carbon hood as stated in the title and have found little information on the forum about things such as fitment, trimming, and whether or not hood pins were necessary. If you have personally purchased and installed this hood I would be very interested to hear about your overall experience with it and how the installment with it went.
Here's the link: 86MZRX72DDFT-010C. VIS Carbon Fiber Hood - Drift Style for 86-92 Mazda RX7 at Andy's Auto Sport
I'd like to know
1. How was the general fitment of the hood?
2. Was any trimming or cutting of the hood necessary anywhere on it? If so where?
3. Did you need to swap out springs for the hood? I am aware that there a different spring strengths for the aluminum and steel hoods. I currently have an aluminum TII hood.
Let me know! Thanks!

Personally, I've heard bad things about Andy's as a dealer, wrong parts/ bad fitment/ delays, but as long as it's not a remold of a VIS hood I can't see it being too bad.
