I like how they brag about it not having a reserve but the bidding starts at 4.5k HAHA! I wouldn't pay a cent over 4k personally. Sweet car though.
Picked up my own sport model.
No ps, ac, or sunroof!
Pretty excited. I have already stripped alot of the rear suspension for new bushings and turbo drivetrain.
Mine was missing the under tray and the aluminum belly pan as well. Front aero lip is gone. The sport wing is in sad condition, and the rear wheel aero is pretty beat.

Yo Colby that's one of the RARE black 87.5's. WANT! Haha. Only black OEM sport.
MrGoodnight- that thing's rad, I came across it on one of my nation-wide CL searches. Good score!!! Post some mroe progress pics later. Can't believe it's no PS no sunroof, what a gem!

I'll keep you guys posted. It's on the course to replace my current GXL.
Some progress..
S5 T2 diff is in with delrin rear Dif mounts, PBM front buff mount. Battle version rear camber link.
New rear wheel bearings, extended wheel studs, new brake rotors, regreased the calipers and installed hawk hps pads, steel braided brake lines as well.
T2 trans and driveshaft were just installed as well.
Remaned front calipers too with the hawk pads. Going to do front control arm bushings, repack the wheel bearings and replace the brake rotor and that should be it for that kind of stuff.

Did not realize Sports were special at all. But mine started life as a Gold colored 87 Sport. Unfortunately when I got the car 2 years ago it was rattle canned flat black, mostly gutted, stuff falling off and was running like crap. After reading through this thread a bit I suppose all the Sport features were what drew me into purchasing the car and doing something with it.
It is put away in a corner of my garage right now for winter storage

and here it is out doing work

Yeah that wood threw me for a loop to. Was looking at it like: "who does this?" only now to find out it was factory. Just let my super base sport majigger go for $800 to..... ran **** albeit high millage and the dude drove it home.
Had some really bad rust from a botched quarter repair at one point, but in comparison to my GXL, that damn car was feather light.
