You don't use heel-toe on practice runs? Why's that?

My local roads here are currently on fire, so no fun for a while. Our largest fire went from 45,000 acres to 85,000 acres overnight, then went to 125,000 acres the next!!!!

I like greenery, trees, foggy mornings, clear nights, beautiful views, hikes and falls leaves! I like our neck of the woods. I've never been to Colorado but want to go so bad w/ my car.

2 years ago. I've posted these a lot but thought I would stop a little discussion w/ some more pictures! This was one of my favorite days for pics!

heel toe is still good to practice with cause it helps you perfect it into you lines cause if your not used to heel toe in your lines they'll be off and if you forget too you can shift lock and thats no good. anyways you guys have some nice roads out there...how are the police and you guys doing what you do?

I don´t use it..because I´m not runing at full speed to corners at day touges i run them only for fun at day, early braking, slow corner speeds, at night it is a bit different. I´m use hell toe at circuit where I´m very often, so I practice it there, where i have safety zones or If i slowing down to crossroads. I´m still learning how to drive my car after two years of driving it, bacause i´m driving new cars very often at work
Police is quite OK here (not all of themm some are *****(what do you like))
Police: you were racing there?
us: Yes, what happened?
police: Some peoples call us they can hear your exhausts
us: hmmm, that far?
police: If do you want, take one last run and then leave
Because they have nothing to us, only sound of engines at high revs

I know it has great sound but it is too loud, now i´m waiting for complete Racing beat, which is horribly expensive to get it here from anaheim. So i´m looking to install it and hoping for change in quiter side, but with same engine tone, because i cant find any videos os Streetported n/a with racing beat

I work as a driver for car group called "Auto Palace", we are dealers of Mazda, Mitsubishi, Ford, Nissan and some others, but now we are the first official dealer for Infinity in czech republic, so I drive new G37s, FX50s and others quite often. But most of time I´m driving some normal cars as Mazda 3 or Mazda 6 (no mazdaspeed ) yeah thats my work

Man I heel toe whenever I have to put it in a lower gear and brake. I mean like 50 times a day just going about my business. I got so used to having to do that because of my 240sx; it loved to lose traction in the rear end if I didn't rev match somehow. Now i just do it constantly no matter what car I am in.

Basically I practice as many aspects of racing as much as possible. Its why I take every turn I come to as fast as I can or threshold brake coming up to a stop light just coming to work in the morning. You wouldn't believe how much it helps, I have been touging for 5 years and I hear people say "I don't come up here enough to practice such and such technique." I tell them the same thing I am telling this thread, practice no matter where you are even if you risk looking like a jackass.

Just remember be safe on or off the touge!

Last night I went to the nearest touge to drive a bit. I hadn't been to this touge since a long time so it was really nice to drive it again.

Here is a little video.

next time you go, if your camera will allow it, lock the exposure when pointing in a dark area(or cover the lens). it'll stop the exposure from changing.
