Wiper switch rebuild question
Hey there so I've got a 1989 vert FC and the wipers Don't work on high and don't return to home position they just stop where ever you let off the switch, So i have just been looking into rebuilding it like many other people have done but when I pulled the wiper switch out of the dash panel it seemed to have never been touched in 30 year but looks as if it’s missing parts, Looking at the photos other people have provided when they were rebuilding they highlighted that there are 3 relays and the third relay being bad is the cause of high speed not working But when i looked at mine relay 1 is entirely missing and there is a jump wire in its place, Now I’m posting on here to see if anyone that knows more about the matter can help me out I'm not sure if its oem that way on this model or was tinkered with and if anyone could provide the type of relay that relay 1 and three are that would be greatly appreciated as well i will include some pictures of the switch it self to give a better idea of what I'm talking about thanks

The empty space at the top of your switch is for a rear window wiper relay. Some coups and all verts did not have a rear wiper. It's one of those other two relays that's causing your problem.
