What’s missing here

so i got this 86 rx7 and there seems to be a LOT missing from my engine bay. The car won’t start but it’ll crank and really wants to start but just won’t. Ive replaced the spark plugs and done the de flooding process but still won’t. As you can see in the picture with the ecu, the car had mice at one point. Whats necessary for the car to start and if you can tell, does my car have it? I know the pulsation damper goes bad in most cars and have one coming in soon but other than that what can i replace to try to start the car. Any sensors preventing it? I’m in the dark and i just want to know what i need.

appears to have been a manual steering car but the smog pump and a/c were gutted. the ECU is probably toast also, looks to have been subjected to plenty of condensation from sitting exposed.

start with the basics:

compression
fuel
spark

it only takes 1 missing to not run. half of those connectors you are pointing to are unused, for testing purposes or are for other models.

^^ correct.

its a manual steering car, but the A/C has been removed. air pump, and mechanical fan have as well. it also is missing the cruise control.

the Green and Yellow connectors are test connectors, so they should not be plugged into anything
