pics - 84' 1st gen on ebay - here's the missing pics

Hey 1st gen owners.

Got some pics of that 1984 1st gen on ebay in Atlanta (my home town). He says it only has 93K miles, but I'm unsure if it's an SE or GSL-SE.

It's the brown car here:

And here's his email address if you'd like to get more details:
devinelorusso@prodigy.net

And here's the auction:

Yes, it is a GSL-SE. Look at the wheels. They are the 14" ones.

There is no -SE only:
GS
GSL
GSL-SE

Wow, that is gorgeous!.. the imagestation takes a while to load, but it's worth the wait.. too bad he didn't post that pic on eBay!

I've never seen a brown GSL-SE before.. was it brown originally? It's a very handsome color, esp with those wheels.

So is he asking only $2500 for it?.. or is that the reserve?

I think 2500 is list. I'm not sure what the condition is, so email and ask him for details.

The Mound is one of the best Brown cars I have ever seen, though I may be biased. Very classic looking and very very compimentary to the styling of the car. I see many "off brown bronze" mounds but not that many real Brownmounds.

It's funny though, when I tell people that I am going to get the Mound painted within the next year or so, they always ask, "Are you going to keep it brown?"

You're goddamn right I am going to keep it brown!

Right on-

I like brown too...Always did, but there seems to be a lot of people who do not....hey...if we all liked the same color , how boring this world would be.. as for this e-bay car...pictures can be deceiving. If you look close, you can see the top window molding paint is off. And, re-paints can be ok but, it must have been weather beaten or may be in an accident or abused to need re-paint at 93,000 miles...but....maybe not....the owner may have just wanted a fresh paint. But, don't judge the car by a photo. yeah, it looks good in the photo but watct out if you bid , then go pick up the car and say , woops, I made a booboo.. New paint can hide a lot of stuff. ...just my two cents worth...cjf
