stock air box missing missing hose!

K so i bought my fd about a month ago. One day while doing a quick inspection of my car i came across a hanging hose. I pulld it and it wasnt even connected to anything (both sides). Now i found this to the right of my stock air box(rhd model). I lookd up a pic of under the hood of a stock fd

was just wondering if anybody had an idea where that hose, the only one on the right side connected to the air box is going to??

so far it looks as the only mod done on this car was a aftermarket bov. Now i am not too sure where the stock bov is. Lot of people saying its right up at the front of the car but min eright now is mounted on the top left corner firewall (looking at that pic under the hood).

Thank you very much in advance!!

That hose coming off of the left side (right side in pic) of the airbox doesn't connect to anything. I think it is just run down there for sound deadening of pressures that can come into the airbox.

The stock BOV's are actually two. In that pic, go to the rear left side of the airbox. There are two 1" hoses attaching there. The "normal" bov is the one closest to the airbox and has a small metal label called "ABV". The other bov is called the CRV and it's located about 10" back toward the firewall.

If you have an aftermarket BOV installed on the car it's likely to either be just cosmetic or set to open just before the stock BOVs. I would install a boost gauge and check the boost pattern.
