This is my first rodeo with rotaries and recently picked up an '88 10AE with roughly 150k miles that has been sitting for years. Still on the original engine! Comparing these with some of the other threads looks like resurfacing them is a better option than running them how they are but would like some second opinions. There seems to be a little bit of chrome flaking or scraped off near the housing edges. When running my hand down the face, no nail catching gauges but I believe I can feel a very slight difference in height between the sides and the middle of the face, where you can notice the change in shine. Is that just standard wear or something more serious to have caused this pattern?
