Tachometer not reading at all

i have a 87 FC, N/A and I’ve recebtly done a rebuild and the tach worked fine at first. I drove it around a few times trying to break it in and I started t and get nothin from the tach or any other gauges , I know it is not a gauge cluster issue, I have resouldered my old cluster and replaced it with an OEM one. I did get the oil pressure and voltage to read by replacing a blown fuse in the kick panel but the rest of the fuses are fine and I can’t find a thread on this that talks about anything other than resouldering. Help would be appreciated,
Thanks

Clean ALL grounds on the Trailing coil and the bracket and chassis mounts that the coil attach to.
If that does not work try a "trick" with a Wire from the single bullet connector on the Leading coil attached to the Single wire with the bullet connector on the Trailing coil.
Hopefully you can make a patch wire with the proper connectors so you do not have to hack the wires.
