Steering pump leak?

Hi guys,

Asking for a friend. He sent me the pic below and told me it's leaking. I believe this is the steering pump. Can anyone confirm please?

thanks,
Mike

yes that is the power steering pump. most of the cars i've had apart seem like the pumps seep oil, they are always gross.

finding the O ring kit might be harder than actually rebuilding the pump, its really simple

It's pretty common for the rubber hoses on the pump to seep. Could be that simple. You can either get bulk PS hose or buy the molded hoses from someone like Atkins or Mazdatrix. I recommend new clamps too. Assuming that's the leak.
