1988 rx7 convertible been sitting for 8 years.
newer low mileage motor. Emissions delete, block off plates, RB headers, and monzo dual exhaust. Throttle body mod and premixing.
first start up idle bounces from 1000 to 1500. Adjusted the TPS to 1 kohm. Idle screw all the way down. I have a TPS light but no matter how much I adjust the TPS I can’t get one light to come on again. The light came on once. I change the throttle body with a factory spec one. Idle improved a little but not much. Changed out the CAS. Changed out the TPS. Change out the air mixture sensor. Changed out ECU still nothing. All new gaskets, all new sensors, new silicone vacuum hoses. Cleaned the gas tank and new gas.

 

You still might have vacuum leaks. That will cause idle surging. I would also check for bad grounds to the ECU and the battery. Use a multimeter to test everything you can to the FSM.
