Is this rotor still usable?
First Post, cant find anything similar to this because either it's rare or my search-fu is too weak.
While building my first motor (like an hour ago) I accidentally dropped an apex seal spring into the rotor chamber and the weight of the rotor put a big gash into it. I sanded it down so it wouldn't hit the side of the housing as it rotates but I wasn't sure if it would throw off the balance or something like that. These are s5 turbo rotors, lightened, balanced and clearanced by REC in Canada. I just wanna know how *%$&ed it is, like if it's gonna throw off the balance a significant amount or something.

I think as long as the side seals, Apex seals, and corner seals still move freely in the grooves and the dent doesn't contact/scrape the iron surface while rotating your fine. I would take a fine tooth file to it to be sure the edges are as flat as possible.
