Where do you guys buy parts for your 20b?

I blew the engine in my FC almost a year and a half ago. I've been saving up money ever since then to get it running again. I could have started it up again soon after blowing the engine, but i wanted to get quite a lump sum of money together so i could do something crazy and do everything at the same time.

Now the time has come and I've been toying with the idea of a 20b. One of the biggest questions that I have is, where do you get parts for the engine. little things such as an oil pan gasket or intake manifold gasket? Where do you guys buy your small regular maintenance items that are 20b specific?

Thanks,
Jonathan

i personaly dont like to use oil-pan gaskets , they tend to leak , i usually use that grey gasket maker stuff ,worked great so far.
Intake gasket , ....when all else fails ...make youre own
Other little maintenance stuff....oil filter, use same as 13B, fuel filter ,.depends on youre setup
Just think of the 20B as a larger 13B , a lot of things are interchangable

Yep. Also rx7.com has gaskets for these, but like felix says, its easier and cheaper to make your own.

Ebay has intake gaskets now for $40.00
So far Ebay seems to be the best place to find any 20B parts

They are the same source

Mazdaspeed has all the spare parts you'll need for the 20b with the exception of the e-shaft, and for now, the sought after thick intermediate housing. Mazdaspeed will be offering these again VERY soon for the low price of $2400.

By far the best sealeant I have used is HondaBond available from any Honda dealer. This goop blows away anything P-Tex makes.

At $2400 its almost cheaper to just CNC mill one out of billit steel.

What about aluminum? Might as well make it lighter in the process.

Then you'd have to plate the sides.

These guys had a very trick aluminum center iron at PRI. No price given yet. I'm sure it will be spendy but at $2400 for a stock piece it'd be worth a look.

no relevance

this might not have anything to do with the subject of conversation but i have a 20b automatic transmission with less than 50k miles on it. willing to let it go for cheap. well...it does have some relevance when i think about it. Anyway, im also in the middle of a 20b swap into an fc though. i have a bent throttle body that i dont know what to do with and is hampering my progress. anyway, good luck to you man.

Is the thermal expansion of the aluminum plate vastly different than that of the stock plate?

I think it's the new belt-drive model. 2liter model probably.

Hi, I'm new to this forum business so I hope this post comes out right.

I have a FULL set of brand new genuine Mazda plates and housings for a 20B still in their boxes, a brand new block if you will.
I am looking at expressions of interest, I would nearly go as far to say this is the only full set for sale anywhere?

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what this may be worth?

Thanks for reading my post.
