Hey Guys. I got a no name subframe which moved my steering rack. Didnt know about Defined until much later...bummer! They did my exhaust manifold though so im not all fucked! Any good adjustable tierods you would recommend? (I don't like the sound of bump steer) Thanks

I'd just go ahead and replace the subframe. I've got a bout 30K into my ls1 swap and its spent seven years on jackstands, even though its been done for five . Something about messing with the steering was too unsettling (that and Hinson subframes were falling apart). There may be a stock subframe kit coming out soon so I'll have the 20B & LS1 Rx's to play with.
I've got a set of Hinson Bump steer on my LS RX7. Not a huge fan (this was his second version, I belive he is on his third or fourth version). I'd give Justin Samberg a call. All of his stuff is legit. Samberg Performance Fabrication | RX 7 and BMW E36

Thanks guys, ill certainly take this into consideration. Im running the stock fuel injectors, should I get them flow tested and put the best in the rear rotor, which is most likely to discombobulate!

Well steering was fine but the front end was pushing on corner entry and then the power was kicking it all over the place lol. I've since almost eliminated it by changing spring rates, front sway bar, alignment settings, and more tire in the back. The front just has extra weight and I removed a bunch of weight from the back at the same time as well which threw the balance off on the car.

More like vice grips and a hammer . I still haven't decided what route to take with my car looks wise and don't want to rush it so I'd rather have the car looking like that for a bit then something I end up not liking. I want the stock 99 look I've had for so many years but there is a conflict of interests with what I want to achieve with the car on track. I need a GT wing and front canards but I'm gonna hate driving it on the street

...since this thread is a bit old, i have to ask if theres anyupdate on whats the best subframe is...?
I think i would prefer to keep the oem subframe and add a few brackets, but on the other hand i don't like the solution Xcessive is offering, i would prefer to keep the oem mounts - perhaps i'm mistaken, but couldn't the 13B alloy brackets be used?
Plus, the kit should work for an rhd model.
I don't know if the defined autoworks kit will work, but unfortunately the information on their homepage is poor, I would like to see a few more pics, as well as pics that document the modification to the steering bracket and rack.
