Question What 20b "#" do you have?

Just curious what number does you engine have on it?
you will find the number stamped on the front rotor housing.
lets gather some info here on run numbers etc.
it will be either a number or a letter followed by a number.
my number is 454

Mine says 421. The highest number I saw was I think the Mazdatrix drag car where it was in the 9XX range.

Also if these numbers are actually the serial number for the engine, then how many 20B's where actually produced? Anybody has that info?

Actually scratch that - the number "555" was painted all over the motor, but the front plate actually had "669" stamped on it.

the series number is on the front rotor housing
not on the cast iron parts, now if you have rebuilt and
used 3rd gen housings you will no longer have the number.

Mine has 757 on the front and rear rotor housing, couldn't see the second housing but I think thats the housing we replaced anyway.
is the number supposed to be on all housings or just the front one??
I believe 9000 20B JC Cosmo's were made, how many extra engines were built is another story.

How does that price compare with other engines capable of similar power? I think the Supra inline 6 can do like 1000HP or something. How much do they cost new?

guess i was wrong, the numbers are stamped on all the
rotor housings, not just the front one.
