Well, the purchasing has started

Well, I have started my 20b project a while ago. I am excited, and here is what has been purchased thus far:

- Subframe
- Spendles
- Intercooler
- Radiator
- Fan
- Throttle Body adapter
- Water Neck attachment
- Belly Pan
- Top Pan
- Oil lines
- Power Steering Cooler
- Swaybar spacers
- Single Turbo manifold
- Downpipe

Needed Still:

- Engine
- Rebuild for engine
- Block off plates
- Transmission
- Clutch
- Rear suspension pieces
- Computer
- Ignition Coils
- Spark Plugs
- Wires
- Turbo
- Wastegate
- Exhaust catback
- Turbo filter
- Misc vacuum lines

I think that is it!

Did I miss anything? Most of the other stuff (excluding engine) will come later. Engine should be pretty quick.

Thanks!

I am still trying to decide between the Innovative T76 or the GT80 size turbo.. I am just worried that the GT80 may be to large for my "use". That, and the "R" trim scares me!

That's really cool! I hope to begin my purchasing soon. Man, I should've started already, but as always, too many things needed the money first.

A couple questions, what's the "top pan" and "belly pan"?? Custom 20B/FD peices? Also who did you get the manifold from?

Black99-

On the stock FD3S, there is a plastic black belly-pan piece. It is used for protection, airflow, dripping, etc. Well, due to the movement of pieces of equipment in the engine bay, the stock plastic belly pan isn't as "desirable". Rather, Tito from Alamo Rotary has a neat aluminum belly pan that directs airflow and protects the equipment down there.

If you go to Pettit's website or AlamoRotary.com, look at their 3-Rotor FD's. In the very front section, the pan covers the intercooler, radiator, condenser, fuse box, etc. It is used to make it look "pretty". It also does have some function, for it directs flow through the proper areas.

Tito made me the manifold. I will have pics soon.

I have started a website that will track my progress, among other neat things.

That's what I thought you meant by belly pan but I always just figured the 3 rotor/20B FD guys just left it off and went without it. I guess because I've never seen underneath a 20B FD before. And I guess I never noticed in any of the Alamo Rotary/Pettit Banzai car pics either.

I now know what you mean't by "top pan" as well, it's sort of a "filler panel" basically like alot of the guys on the forum are now selling for FD's witn FMIC's.

Sounds like you are having Alamo do alot of work for you. I've been to their site and it really seems like they know what they're doing.

BTW, any projected hp numbers for this beast? Any idea what type of car it's going to be(track car, weekend car, etc?)??

Oh and yeah as soon as you get the website started post the url!!

The url is www.twentyb.com

All I have up there is background crap, etc. But you can start to see how I have compiled it all.

I have some ideas, but just not too much time to get it all done. As of now, there is no content.
